The Ellucian Workflow Bootcamp is a 10-week interactive training program where participants will build two complete processes from start to finish using Ellucian Workflow, which is powered by ProcessMaker Platform.

The bootcamp is designed for new users getting started with the Platform, existing users looking to deepen their understanding, and institutions training additional staff members. Each session focuses on hands-on learning with guided instruction to help you develop practical skills you can apply immediately at your institution. This training is complimentary and included in your Ellucian Workflow subscription.

Bootcamp Schedule

We are running 3 concurrent cohorts starting in January 2026, and each cohort meets once a week. Choose the session that works best for your schedule and your institution’s ERP system.

  • Register for one of the above sessions, and you’ll be enrolled in all 10 weeks of that cohort’s series.
  • Enrollment for each cohort is limited to 10 schools, and registration will close once a cohort reaches capacity.

Attend Weekly Office Hours

Join our weekly office hours for any questions that couldn’t be answered during the sessions:

  • Thursdays: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM EST (starting January 15)
  • Fridays: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM EST (starting January 16)

Completion Requirements

To successfully complete the bootcamp, participants must:

  • Attend at least 8 out of the 10 sessions
  • Pass the BPMN Certification Exam from ProcessMaker University (recommended before session 3)
  • Pass the Designer Basics Certification Exam from ProcessMaker University (recommended between sessions 8 and 10)

What You’ll Get

  • Virtual Badge: Every individual who completes the bootcamp will receive a professional virtual badge to add to their resume or social media profiles
  • Free Mentoring: Every school that has at least one employee complete the bootcamp will receive free mentoring for their next process or project in Ellucian Workflow

  • Build the BPMN process model for the first process
  • Create a simple form
  • Introduction to process variables

Week 4

  • Customize forms
  • Build review forms
  • Add approval logic

Week 5

  • Configure task assignments
  • Add gateways for decision making

Week 6

  • Configure notifications
  • Add additional users and groups
  • Define assignment rules

Week 7

  • Publish your first process and run a case
  • Learn to navigate your inbox
  • Start a process through a web entry

Week 8

  • Build the second process
  • Explore Process Templates

Week 9

  • Data storage in collections
  • Access data through data connectors

Week 10

  • Reporting through charts and analytics
  • Introduction to FlowGenie and AI Tools
