The Solutions team at ProcessMaker is looking for a higher education Product Manager, responsible for the planning and execution of the product lifecycle for its Higher Education Industry Solutions.
The Product Manager will be responsible for documenting existing procedures, recommending improvements, and working with internal stakeholders to define requests.
You will ensure that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.
The successful candidate is a self-starter with a strong vision who is interested in process review and improvement for our higher education products. You will be looking to learn and expand within the role, eventually becoming a subject-matter expert and having a deep hand in elevating our product to the next level. Responsibilities
- Deliver MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification
- Collaborate closely with the Solution Architecture team tasked to build the products and features managed
- Be an expert with respect to the competition
- Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product
- Develop sales tools and collateral
- Brief and help to train internal teams
- Collaborate with the documentation team
- Act as a leader within the company
Qualifications:
- Ideal candidates will have worked with software products designed for Higher Education or have served at Higher Education institutions
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Product Manager or Product Marketing Manager
- Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Technical background, with experience in SAAS and Enterprise Software
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Examples and at least one sample of an effective document delivered in the past
