Essential Functions

  • Execute a product marketing plan for the products you support in conjunction with the Product Marketing Manager and Marketing team, including key activities to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers.
  • Collaborate with product management and marketing communications to develop product positioning and messaging.Craft the key messages around our products’ value proposition that resonate with our target buyer personas.
  • Regularly update and maintain a library of assets for sales and marketing to ensure accurate product information, including images, videos, product walkthroughs, and slides.
  • Provide content input for marketing materials including website redesigns, buyer persona messaging, and feature changes.
  • Assess the effectiveness of the marketing programs that support your products on an ongoing basis, and report back to the business on required changes.
  • Understand and support our sales channels. Help train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users. Engage with internal teams on how to leverage resources created by the Product Marketing team.
  • Work with Customer Success team to support efforts to cross-sell multiple products and services, as well as migration from previous versions of products.

Minimal Qualifications

  • 3+ years of marketing, product management, or product marketing experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a market-facing role (e.g. delivering presentations to customers and prospects)
  • Excellent at maintaining organized resources for others to use.
  • Proficient in communication tools including Google Slides, WordPress, and video editing.
  • Comfortable using collaboration and CRM tools such as Slack, Confluence, and Salesforce.
  • Familiar with marketing automation tools and SEO.
  • Strong public speaker, comfortable in front of large, senior groups.
  • Effective writer able to condense technical information into concise value propositions.
  • Proficient in business English.
  • Flexibility and time management to work on a variety of projects at once.
  • Excellent people skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties. Team player!

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in SaaS
