This is a 6-month contract role for 20 hours per week with the opportunity for progression. This is a remote role but you may be asked to be onsite in our Durham, NC office occasionally.

The HR Generalist will be an integral part of the ProcessMaker team as the face of tasks related to US onboarding, offboarding, payroll processing and tracking of Customer Success / Sales commissions. This role does have a lean towards payroll and benefits. Other special HR projects as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support to employees in various HR-related topics (i.e., leaves and compensation) and quickly resolve any issues that may arise
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations

Essential Functions

  • Process bi-monthly US payroll
  • Facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding task lists
  • Administer compensation and benefit plans
  • Tracking of Customer Success / Sales commissions and payments
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic form

Minimal Qualifications

  • 2-3 years experience as an HR Generalist
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office, Paychex, BambooHR
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures, labor laws
  • Hyper-organized, taskmaster
  • Aptitude in problem-solving and attention to detail
  • Desire to work as a team within the framework of ProcessMaker’s values: innovation, collaboration, integrity, drive

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a global, multi-dimensional environment
  • BSc/BA in Business administration or relevant field
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification will be a plus
