Colosa and Xcompetence join forces for ProcessMaker Development
Business-to-Business partnership supported by the Danish Embassy of Bolivia
La Paz, Bolivia and Bornholm, Denmark - July 8, 2008 – Colosa Bolivia Ltda is proud to announce that it has signed a Collaboration and Distribution contract with Xcompetence A/S of Denmark. Xcompetence will become a master distributor for ProcessMaker software in certain Markets and Xcompetence will also begin adding people and resources to assist Colosa with the development of ProcessMaker OSS, the new open source version of the popular Business Process Management (BPM) software suite.
The collaboration between Colosa and Xcompetence began thanks to support provided by The Royal Embassy of Denmark through a Business-to-Business (B2B) Pilot Project Grant.
The B2B Program encourages private-sector development in Bolivia by promoting bilateral exchange with Danish counterparts. Colosa and Xcompetence are currently applying for additional funding to insure the continuity of their initial collaboration.
In the Project Phase of the Danida Grant, Colosa and Xcompetence will focus on personnel and technological exchanges in order to support the ongoing development and innovation of ProcessMaker OSS. In addition both companies will focus on strengthening the sales presence of Xcompetence A/S in the European market.
