Brian Reale

CEO & Co-Founder

Brian Reale, co-founder and of Colosa Inc, has more than 13 years experience managing high tech companies. Prior to founding Colosa in 2000, Mr. Reale was the General Manager of Unete Telecomunicaciones Ltda. (www.unete.bo), a long distance voice and data carrier in Bolivia that Mr. Reale founded in 1997.

Mr. Reale has been a speaker and panelist at a number of industry conferences. Mr. Reale's publications include an analysis of the Bolivian telecommunications industry for the World Economic Forum and Harvard Center for International Development, and "VoIP Market Opportunities in the Developing World."

Mr. Reale graduated magna cum laude from Duke University in 1993 and was awarded a Fullbright scholarship in Ecuador in 1994.

John Paul Martin

Commercial Director

John Paul Martin-Rojas has more than 14 years experience in the areas of project development, strategic planning, and sales.  Prior to Colosa, Mr. Martin-Rojas was General Manager of BSG Bolivia, a consulting firm that developed and executed projects for the Inter American Development Bank (IDB), Corpracion Andina de Fomento (CAF), International Finance Corporation (IFC) ,  and private institutions in Bolivia.  Mr. Martin-Rojas represented Bolivia in different multilateral organizations in Washington D.C., such as Representative of Bolivia to the Board of Directors of the IDB and Commercial Counselor (Embassy of Bolivia – USA). He was the chief negotiator for commercial treaties between USA, Ecuador, Peru, Colombia and Bolivia (ATPDEA). 

Mr. Martin-Rojas has a BA in Marketing and an MBA with two concentrations ( Entrepreneurship and Managerial Decision-making) from George Washington University in Washington D.C.

Adolfo Lang

Director of Operations

Adolfo Lang has more than 14 years experience in the areas of business development and consulting, general management, and operations. In addition to his role as Director of Operations for all ProcessMaker implementation projects, Mr. Lang is General Manager of Colosa’s Bolivian operations. Prior to Colosa, Mr. Lang was General Manager, Senior Consultant and partner at CONSOL SRL, an IT Consulting Firm. He has an MBA from Catholic University in La Paz, Bolivia, a BSE in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a BS in Electronics Engineering Technology from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Fernando Ontiveros Lira

CTO & Co-Founder ProcessMaker Open Source Project

Fernando Ontiveros is ProcessMaker’s main architect. He has more than 15 years experience in Software Development. Prior to joining Colosa in 2002, Mr. Ontiveros was a Computer Analyst for Banco de Credito de Bolivia, one the major Banks in Bolivia, were he developed  more than a dozen mission-critical applications like Home Banking, Online Banking transactions, Customers Service and Data Warehouse.

Mr. Ontiveros has a BS in Computer Science from the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés in Bolivia, and a MS of E-commerce from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in Spain. He also has a RHCT certification from Red Hat.

Ib Byder

Strategic Advisor

Ib Byder has held various executive positions in high tech companies over the last 25 years.  Prior to joining Colosa as an advisor, Mr.Byder was Country President of ERICSSON.  Mr. Byder has held various management positions with ERICSSON for 20 years in different countries around the world.  Mr. Byder has been involved with Business Process Management since the mid 80`s and has extensive experience with European Markets.

Mr. Byder received the Innovation Award from CES, Las Vegas in 2005 and also received the Norwegian Design Award.  Mr. Byder has taken completed executive education programs at the London Business School and Duke University's The Fuqua School of Business.
