Brian Reale has more than 15 years of experience managing high tech companies. Prior to founding ProcessMaker (formerly known as Colosa) in 2000, Mr. Reale was the General Manager of Unete Telecomunicaciones Ltda. (www.unete.bo), a long distance voice and data carrier in South America that Mr. Reale founded in 1997 and sold to a publicly traded US Telecom company in 2000. Mr. Reale also co-founded Spotless LLC, an entertainment technology company where Mr. Reale continues as an outside Director.
Mr. Reale is a regular speaker and panelist at technology conferences and has published several articles about VoIP and its applications in the developing world. Mr. Reale graduated magna cum laude from Duke University in 1993 and was awarded a Fulbright scholarship in linguistics in Ecuador in 1994.
Adolfo Lang has more than 20 years of experience in the areas of business development and consulting, general management, and operations. In addition to his role as Director of Professional Services for all ProcessMaker implementation projects, Mr. Lang is also the General Manager of ProcessMaker (formerly known as Colosa). Prior to joining ProcessMaker, Mr. Lang was General Manager, Senior Consultant and partner at CONSOL SRL, an IT Consulting Firm. He has an MBA from Catholic University in La Paz, Bolivia, a BSE in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a BS in Electronics Engineering Technology from the University of Southern Mississippi.
John Paul Martin-Rojas has more than 14 years of experience in the areas of project development, strategic planning, and sales. Prior to ProcessMaker (formerly known as Colosa), Mr. Martin-Rojas was General Manager of BSG, a consulting firm that developed and executed projects for the Inter American Development Bank (IDB), Corporación Andina de Fomento (CAF), International Finance Corporation (IFC), and private companies in Latin America. Mr. Martin-Rojas worked for various multilateral organizations in Washington D.C. including the IDB as Representative of Bolivia to the Board of Directors of the IDB and the Bolivian Embassy in the US. He was the chief negotiator for commercial treaties between USA, Ecuador, Peru, Colombia and Bolivia (ATPDEA).
Mr. Martin-Rojas has a BA in Marketing and an MBA with two concentrations (Entrepreneurship and Managerial Decision-making) from George Washington University in Washington D.C.
Freddy Mercado is an electronics engineer with over 20 years of experience in telecom and software technology companies. In Mr. Mercado's previous role as CEO of BIGSOMER, Mr. Mercado developed specialized GIS solutions for the banking and insurance industry. Mr. Mercado graduated from the Escuela Militar de Ingeniería in 1989 and did several postgraduate courses in the span of his career.
Enrique Ponce De Leon has over 13 years of experience as a software engineer and architect. Mr. Ponce joined ProcessMaker as a Sr. Software Engineer and was quickly named as an Engineering Project Lead on ProcessMaker's highest profile technology project. Before joining ProcessMaker Mr. Ponce spent 5 years creating a variety of enterprise & cloud applications. Mr. Ponce has also developed e-commerce, ERP, and CRM software previously. Mr. Ponce has dual degrees in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science and has done further coursework in agile development and product management. In his spare time Mr. Ponce leads several community organizations and founded the first Google Developers' Group in Bolivia.
Mauricio Veliz has over 10 years of experience on the ProcessMaker platform. Mr. Veliz joined ProcessMaker in 2004 as a software developer and was the original lead programmer for the first several versions of the ProcessMaker platform. Since then he has occupied various positions including most recently Director of Support Services. Prior to joining ProcessMaker, Mr. Veliz worked as an engineer for companies in the banking and telecom sectors. Mr. Veliz has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering from the Catholic University in La Paz, Bolivia.
Taylor Dondich has worked with companies such as Yahoo, Splunk and Federated Media. Most recently Taylor was VP of Engineering at MaxCDN which he helped to grow from a startup until it was acquired by Stackpath. Taylor has extensive experience in enterprise software development with a focus on performance, stability and security. Taylor has spoken on the topics of scalability, enterprise development and best practices at various open source conferences and is a published O'Reilly author.
During his spare time, he enjoys strumming along on his ukulele and thinking of new ways to improve the technology space.
