Knowledge DMS Mashup
The Knowledgtree plug-in for ProcessMaker adds full featured workflow to the Knowledgtree document management and improves knowledgetree workflow. Document workflow often requires very custom approval based processes instead of simple document workflow. Thanks to the tight integration between knowledgtree and processmaker, customers using the Knowledgtree DMS plug-in for ProcessMaker can take advantage of professional Knowledgetree workflow.
Although ProcessMaker has a native DMS included with its workflow software, some customers that are already Knowledgetree open source DMS customers will want to leverage their existing Knowledgetree implementation, so that documents uploaded or generated during a ProcessMaker workflow will be stored directly into the Knowledgetree DMS. Additionally, when users click on the stored documents from ProcessMaker, these documents should be retrieved seamlessly from Knowledgetree and displayed to the ProcessMaker user. All of this is possible using the Knowledgetree DMS plug-in for ProcessMaker which adds advanced workflow to Knowledgetree and advanced DMS functionality to ProcessMaker.
Besides using connectors to the Knowledgetree web services API, the DMS plug-in also presents a visual interface for accessing Knowledgetree folders and files from within the ProcessMaker interface.
